The Bill (Reg. No. 2350) offers to oblige the State Department of Veterinary Medicine to follow solely the requirements of International Epizootic Bureau during the establishment of restrictions or ban on export, import or transit of animals, production of animal origin and agricultural products from particular countries or regions as a result of rise of especially dangerous diseases, including that, which are common for animals and human beings.
Attention was also attracted to the fact, that according to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution of the 30 August 2007, State Department of Veterinary Medicine was reorganized into the headquarters of executive power State Committee of Veterinary Medicine. Therefore, in the judgment of the People´s Deputies it is necessary to provide for corresponding amendments to the Law "On Veterinary Medicine" in the structure of the Bill concerning the authorities of this body.
